The Betuwe is located in the southwest of the province of Gelderland (NL). A wooded region, known for its fruit cultivation. And the jam factory of the same name with its mascot Flipje – the adventurous raspberry.

Tiel is centrally located in the Betuwe. Here Sunshield has equipped a detached house with two louver systems. Both are triangular in shape. The residents can operate these independently of each other.

For these awnings, the choice fell on the 88-E louver. A blade of 88 mm wide and provided with a fold. This slot makes the 88-E particularly suitable for blackout systems; for when it also has to be completely dark during the day. For example for film screenings. Or when you need to sleep during the day.

The aluminum components are coated in RAL 9004, signal black. The plastic parts are black. The louver systems offer a nice contrast with the wooden beams and the thatched roof covering. So different and yet in harmony.
