Triangles, 155E, Rural Villa, Bilthoven, NL
De Bilt, centrally located in the province of Utrecht (NL), is the home of the rainmakers of the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI). De Bilt comprises six villages, including Bilthoven.
Here Sunshield, in collaboration with Buro Go and Ter Braak Architecten, has fitted a luxurious country house with unique louvers. By taking the use of Sunshield blades into account in the specifications, the facades show a beautifully integrated and harmonious ensemble.
Buro Go was responsible for the interior and Ter Braak Architecten for the exterior of the mansion. The result of this collaboration is a luxury home with a rural appearance, equipped with all modern conveniences.
The residents selected the 155-E louver. A blade with a width of 155 mm. In addition, this slat has a groove, a gutter. As a result, the louvers not only overlap, but also interlock. Perfect for a complete blackout by daylight.
The aluminium parts are coated in graphite black (RAL 9011). The plastic components are finished in black.
