De Rotte, the peat river from which Rotterdam owes its name, rises in the Green Heart of Holland. Close to De Rotte, in Rotterdam, a house has been fitted with a unique louver system. By Sunshield.

This system is extra unique, because the louvers are mounted on rafters. As a result, the sun protection is slightly away from the wall.

At the front is a pentagon of no less than 30 m2. On the side another rectangle of 5 m2. These systems are operated remotely.

For the slats, the choice fell on the 155-E louver. An aluminium slat with a width of 155 mm. The slats are finished in RAL 7013, brown-grey.

The other aluminium parts are coated in RAL 7021, black-grey. The plastic parts are also black.
