Triangle, 150E Louver, Hagestein, NL
Hagestein, in the province of Utrecht (NL), owes its name to the Hagestein castle. Here, in the vicinity of the meandering Lek, Sunshield was commissioned by Douzebouw to provide a striking house with two trapezoidal sun blinds.
Both louver systems have a high and a low side. The high side of the system in the west borders the high side of the system in the south. The residents can both operate independently of each other.
The owner of the house has opted for the 150-E louver. A louver with a width of 150 mm and a view between the open slats of 14 cm. The outer sides of the trapezia are fitted with end caps, the corner in the middle of a cover cap. Each awning has an area of almost 18 m2.
This detached house has wooden cladding in a dark brown colour. For contrast, the louver systems are finished in RAL 1014, ivory-coloured yellow. A particularly successful combination. The plastic parts are white.
