Trapezium/rectangle, 75E, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

This is the first project realised in collaboration with Catalana de Graduables. A new enthusiastic business partner located in Òdena (Barcelona).

The residence regarding has a large roof terrace with a veranda where the family like to spend some of their leisure time. Unfortunately, when it gets too hot on the terrace, it usually gets too hot in the roof veranda too.

Catalana de Graduables suggested exterior facade louvers from Sunshield, since exterior blinds are more effective at blocking the heating by the sun, than interior sunshades. 

For maximum flexibility the client opted for two rectangles instead of just one in front of the veranda. A third, trapezium shaped, louver system is installed at the side. Each blind is operated by its own motor.

The louver of choice is the 75-E. The aluminium parts are coated in RAL 9010 - Pure White. The jet moulded plastic parts are executed in white.
