Triangles, 96E, Loft house, Best, NL
The residents of a modern loft house in Best, in the province of Brabant (NL), experienced inconvenience as a result of too much sunlight and solar heat.
Sunshield has provided this detached house with unique louvers. One triangular louver systems have been placed for the window on the street side and another one in front the window at the rear.
The dimensions of the louver systems are identical, both 9m2, but the triangles are each other's mirror image. Both systems are powered by a motor, operated by home automation.
The owners considered a louver with a width of at least 90 mm. Ultimately, the choice fell on the 96-E louver, with a width of 96 mm.
The aluminium parts are coated in RAL 9005, jet black. In addition, a fine structure has been applied that enhances the exclusive appearance with its relief. The plastic components are also finished in black.
