Rectangles/triangles, 96E, Van der Windt, Residence, Bergschenhoek, NL
Bergschenhoek is located on the river De Rotte, right above Rotterdam. The Hoge en Lage Bergse Bos park is located there with facilities for skiers, climbers, golfers and cyclists.
Here is a country house equipped with two unique louver systems. By Sunshield, commissioned by Aannemersbedrijf Van der Windt in Oudewater.
Louvers have been placed in front of the windows above the entrance and to the left and right of the double door on the front facade. The tilting slats here are driven by one motor, nicely positioned in the middle above the doors.
The second louver system is placed at the rear, above the double door. Just like on the front, the system starts at the bottom as a rectangle, but ends at the top with a point.
The residents of the villa opted for the 96-E louver, a blade with a width of 96 mm. When the louvers are fully open, there is a 9 cm view between the slats.
All aluminium components are coated in RAL 7022, umbra gray. The plastic parts, such as the clips that hold and tilt the slats, are in black.
