Rectangles, 150E, Residence, Maasland, NL
Maasland is a town in the municipality of Midden-Delfland, surrounded by typical Dutch polder landscape. You can enjoy a breath of fresh air on your bike or with a stroller.
Here is a detached house equipped with unique louvers. By Sunshield. The front and rear facades of the residence have a risalit, a projecting facade section.
A lot of glass is used in the construction of a risalit, which gives you a lot of incoming daylight. If the sun breaks through, you can easily block it with tiltable, horizontal louvers.
In the summer, the sun is high. Even if you close the louvers a little, sunlight is already blocked. So you retain daylight and a view.
Both louver systems are rectangular and are operated wirelessly. The louvers are set to the desired position between open and closed with a remote control.
The residents opted for the 150-E louver with a width of 150 mm. When the slats are fully open, the view between the slats is 14 cm. Plenty of daylight.
The aluminium components are coated in RAL 9005. The jet-black coating has a matt appearance and is provided with a fine structure.
This fine structure gives the coating a visible and tactile relief, which further enhances the exclusive appearance. The plastic parts, such as the clips that hold the slats, are black.
