Overloon in North Brabant (NL) is part of the municipality of Land van Cuijk. With the national parks De Peel and De Maasduinen in the vicinity, there is plenty of entertainment for the outdoor enthusiast.

Here, two facades of a country house are equipped with sliding panels with aluminium louvers. By Sunshield, in collaboration with architectural firm Donkers Relou.

Sliding louver panels are a special application of outdoor sun protection. Panels are assembled complete with slats in the factory.

Sliding panels are always custom-made, because dimensions vary, and the maximum width of a segment depends on the chosen blade type. The top rail and the guide at the bottom are mounted on site.

The panels with slats are then placed in these rails. If you want to open or close a louver system with sliding shutters, you move the entire panel from left to right or vice versa.

In this detached house, the gable on the street side is equipped with two sliding louver systems. The left panel consists of two segments, is two meters wide and motorized.

You can combine multiple elements in a panel. The right panel on the front facade is over a meter wide and is moved manually.

Two sliding systems have been placed on the west side facade. Both are three meters wide and consist of two elements. The left panel is operated by motor, the right manually.

All panels are 2.6 m high and are powder coated in RAL 7039, quartz grey. The two motors are equipped with a remote control, which is very convenient of course.
