Multiple louvers, 107E, 150E, Private home, Gemert, NL
The municipality of Gemert-Bakel is located in the north-eastern Peel. Still in the province of North-Brabant, but close to the border with Limburg. A region with varied nature, especially a lot of forest and heathland. Here is a modern, detached house fitted with various louver systems. By Sunshield.
At the entrance of the house, a slat system has been installed with, of course, a recess for the front door. This system is placed approximately 75 cm in front of the facade. This created a vestibule between the sun blinds and the glass facade. The residents have opted for the 150-E louver here.
To the left of the house is an office building. The front and rear facade of this office are designed slightly smaller than the entrance of the house, but are designed in the same way. The facades of the office are therefore also equipped with louver systems with the 150-E slat.
Slat systems with the 107-E louver have been installed for the other windows of the residence. A louver that not only falls over each other, but also into each other. Often used in combination with brushes along the sides when darkening is required in daylight.
The choice to combine two slat types is mainly dictated by proportions. A wider slat comes into its own particularly well with a larger glass section. This is less the case with a smaller window, where a slightly narrower slat is more appropriate.
What binds the louver systems together is the finish. All aluminium parts are in RAL 7021, black-grey. And in a matt gloss level and combined with a fine structure. This is a visible and tangible relief which further enhances the exclusive appearance.
