Atlantis Louver Roof, Country House, Gemert, NL
The Dutch municipality of Gemert-Bakel is located in the Peel, an excavated raised peat area on the border of the provinces North-Brabant and Limburg.
Here an Atlantis louver roof has been installed in the garden of a country house. By Sunshield. A special feature of the Atlantis louvered roof is that it is placed on a wooden construction.
The customer may make this construction himself or have it made. Consultation is recommended for the best results. Sunshield's advisor will be happy to give you some tips for realizing the structure.
This Atlantis roof is 4100 mm wide and 3600 mm deep. The engine is nicely placed in the middle. With a remote control, the customer determines how much sunlight he allows. This can be done stepless.
With closed slats, the Atlantis louvered roof is waterproof. The 117-E louvers applied not only overlap, but also interlock into each other. This creates a waterproof surface.
Rainwater runs to one side by a gradient of 1 centimeter per linear meter. There it is collected in a gutter and drained away, so that you don't get a shower when walking into the garden.
The icing on the cake is that energy-efficient LED lighting is incorporated into the carriers. This atmospheric lighting makes for a long, relaxing meal, in the outdoors in your own garden.
The aluminum components are coated in RAL 7021. The black-gray coating has a gloss level of 30% and therefore a matte appearance. The plastic parts are in black.
The combination of the thick wooden beams of the construction and the almost black roof form a sturdy couple, perfectly at home in this rural environment.
