Rectangles, 117E, Rooflight, Manezh, Ternopil, UA

Commissioned by business partner Manezh in Ukraine, Sunshield has produced a louver system for the roof light of an apartment in western Ternópil.

This skylight consists of two rectangles of 15 m2 each, which can be operated separately or simultaneously.

The louver chosen is the 117-E louver, a blade with a width of 117 mm. When the slats are fully open, a view of 90 mm between the louvers is created.

The 117-E louver has been developed for the Infinity louvered roof. One of the special features of the 117-E is that the slats not only overlap each other, but also interlock for optimal water drainage.

The aluminum components are coated in RAL 8003, clay brown. And with a gloss level of 30%, so that the coating has a matt, silky gloss appearance. The plastic parts are brown.

Shortly before the start of the war in Ukraine, the project was shipped. Manezh recently installed the skylights.
