Multiple Louvers, 96E, Modern Villa, Bergambacht, NL
Bergambacht is a village in the Krimpenerwaard in the province of South Holland. An area with polders between the rivers Hollandse IJssel, Lek and Vlist. A typical Dutch landscape.
Here, in collaboration with Bongers Architects in Oud-Alblas, a modern villa is provided with multiple louver systems. By Sunshield.
In the front facade is a bedroom window fitted with a triangular slat system. Two awnings are placed at the rear. One has the shape of a trapezoid, the other that of a triangle.
Halfway the left facade of this spacious house is a risalite. A rectangular louver system has been placed in front of the top half. Each shading system is operated separately with a remote control.
All louver systems are equipped with the 96-E louver, a 96 mm wide blade. If the slats are fully open, the view between the louvers is 9 centimetres. So you daylight, and view are retained.
The aluminium parts are coated in RAL 7021, also known as black-grey. The coating has a fine structure, a visible and tangible relief, which further enhances the exclusive appearance.
