Rectangle/triangle, 150E, Villa, Zevenhuizen, NL
Zevenhuizen (NL) is a village in the municipality of Zuidplas, in the province of South Holland. It is located on the river Rotte, surrounded by the Tweemanspolder, the Zuidplaspolder and the Eendragtspolder.
In this typical Dutch landscape with ditches and windmills, a villa was fitted with unique louvers. By Sunshield. A louver system with movable slats has been installed in the master bedroom.
The louver system starts at the base as a rectangle. Seen from outside on the right, the system turns into a triangle after about one meter, on the left after one and a half; Sunshield supplies movable blades in any shape.
The total surface area of the shading system is over 14 m2. The residents have opted for the 150-E louver, a blade with a width of 150 mm. When the louvers are fully open, there is a 14 cm view between the slats.
The aluminium components are coated in RAL 9005 (jet black). A fine structure has been mixed into the coating powder, resulting in a visible and tactile relief that further enhances the exclusive appearance.
The operation is wireless. It's not necessary to get out of bed to enjoy the view on the polder.
