Triple Quadro Louver Roof, Hoving Bouw, Eindhoven, NL
The Eindhoven city region is an urban area in the Brabantse Kempen. In addition to varied nature, the region also offers plenty of culture and a rich nightlife.
Here is a city villa equipped with three Quadro louver roofs. By Sunshield, in collaboration with Hoving Construction in Valkenswaard (NL).
A Quadro louvered roof is available in three different variants. First of all, leaning; the Quadro is then placed against a wall on one side, the other side stands on two legs.
Completely free-standing is also possible, the Quadro then stands on four columns. The third option has been applied with this residence, the Quadros are built into the spacious overhang.
When a Quadro stand on legs, the rainwater is guided to a gutter and then drained through the columns. With a built-in Quadro, the drain is longer, but the principle of drainage is the same.
For this residence, the Quadro slatted roofs are finished in RAL 9016, traffic white, with a gloss level of 30%. The matte color reflects very little light.
The engines of the Quadros are concealed in a short side. You can easily open, close or place the louvers of a Quadro roof with a remote control.
