Rectangle/triangle, 96E, Country House, Essex, UK
The low-lying county of Essex lies east of the imaginary London-Cambridge line. It is characterized by a flat coastline with a unique mix of estuaries with brackish water, wetlands, salt marshes and beaches of course.
Here is the apex window of an English country house fitted with unique louvers. By Sunshield in collaboration with business partner Solar-Shield.
The master bedroom window starts at the bottom as a rectangle. After about one and a half meters the geometry changes into an isosceles triangle.
When choosing the slat, the residents' choice fell on the 96-E. A louver with a modern, sleek design. When the slats are fully open, the view between the slats is 9 cm. So there's plenty of room for the rural panorama.
The louver system has a surface area of 6 m2. Opening and closing is easy with a remote control. This allows you to open and close the louvers, or to any desired position in between; tiltable slats in any shape.
The aluminum components are coated in RAL 9005, jet black. The gloss level is 30%, which gives the louver system a matte appearance. The plastic is also made in black.
