The avant-corps in the front facade of Villa Brandenburg is equipped with unique louvers. By Sunshield, in collaboration with BVR Wooncomfort in Houten.

The window at the top starts at the base rectangular and gets a triangular shape halfway through.

There are also a rectangular window on the left and right side of the extension. These two windows are also fitted with louver systems. The louvers of these systems meet at the corner.

Western Red Cedar wooden slats are used for all systems. These louvers are of the 98-W type, which, as the name indicates, is 98 mm wide.

The step size, the view between the slats, is 9 cm. When the slats are fully open, daylight will be fully exposed.

The wooden louvers have a dark stain. The aluminum components, such as the vertical supports, are coated in RAL 7016, anthracite gray. The plastic parts are in black.
