Louver wall, 150E, International School, Oranjestad, Aruba

The Country of Aruba appeals to many people. Not so strange with those beautiful white beaches and that wonderful blue Caribbean sea that surrounds the paradise island.

Here Sunshield, in collaboration with C2 Civil & Construction, provided the outdoor gym of the International School of Aruba in Oranjestad with a louvered wall.

And what a wall it is. A good 32.5 meters long and more than 4.5 meters high. Putting the slats in the desired position is easy with a remote control.

The choice fell on the 150-E louver. A slat with a width of 15 cm. When the slats are completely open, a view of no less than 14 cm is created.

The aluminum parts are finished in RAL 5010, Gentian blue. Blue and white are the colours of the International School of Aruba.

A Sunshield technician flew to Aruba for guidance on the installation of this louver wall. A lousy job, of course, but someone had to do it. Fortunately, there were plenty of volunteers.
