The North Brabant municipality of Waalre (NL) is located directly below Eindhoven. You can enjoy the heathland, fens and forests there. Or relax down the meandering Dommel in a kayak or canoe.

Here, a forest villa has been equipped with unique louvers. By Sunshield, commissioned by HOUS Luxury Homes in Oostrum. Two louver systems have been installed at this modern country house.

The rectangle/triangle at the front is 6 metres high and has two separate louver systems. One for the rectangular part and a second for the triangle on top of it.

The isosceles triangle at the rear facade is three metres high. The louver system in question has one motor. At the base, both windows are almost six and a half metres wide.

The residents have opted for the 150-E louver. This is a louver with a width of 150 mm. The step, the space between the louvers when they are fully open, is 14 centimetres.

Plenty of room for daylight and a view. Both louver systems are connected to the residence's home automation system via KNX.

This allows users to open or close the louvers, or to any desired position in between. The plastic parts, such as the clips that hold the slats, are black.

The aluminium components are coated in RAL 7021. The gloss level of 30% gives the black-grey colour a nice matt appearance.
