Numansdorp is located on the Hollandsch Diep, a wide river that still has a tidal difference. Plenty of entertainment for water sports enthusiasts and for cyclists and hikers there is the polder-rich Hoeksche Waard.

Here a detached house has been fitted with unique louvers. By Sunshield, commissioned by Mattone Bouwmeesters in Capelle aan den IJssel.

This residence has a beautiful risalit at the front and back. The louver system has been placed in the extension at the back, at the window on the first floor to be precise.

When determining the type of louver, the choice fell on the 96-E louver. A louver with a nice, sleek profile and a width of 96 mm. That is indeed where the name comes from.

The step size of the 96-E louver is 90 mm. When the louvers are fully open, there is a view between the louvers of 9 centimeters. Plenty of room for daylight and a view.

The louver system is driven by a motor. With a remote control, the residents can easily open and close the louvers. Or to any desired position in between.

The aluminum components are coated in RAL 9004. Due to the gloss level of 30%, the signal black color has a matte appearance. The plastic parts are also black.
