Multiple shapes, 107E, Montavimas, Vidzeme, LV

Vidzeme is one of the cultural and historical regions of Latvia. It borders the Gulf of Riga to the west, Estonia to the north and Russia to the east.

Here, the front and back facades of a newly built country house are equipped with unique louvers. By Sunshield in collaboration with business partner Zaliuziu montavimas in Kaunas, Lithuania.

A triangular louver system has been installed at the large window above the doors on the east side. The base of this system is almost eight meters. Because of this width, the louvers are in two parts.

In the facade on the west side, there is a chimney in the middle. The windows above the doors to the left and right of the chimney are in the shape of a trapezium.

The residents have chosen the 107-E louver. This louver has a width of 107 mm. When the louvers are fully open, the view through the louvers is 9 centimeters.

Just like with the 96-E. The big difference is that the profile of the 107-E has a recess, which means that the slats not only overlap, but also fit into each other.

The aluminium parts are coated in RAL 9005. The jet black colour has a matt appearance due to the gloss level of 30%. The plastic components, such as the clips that hold the slats, are black.
