Rectangle, 96E Louver, Utrecht, NL
The city of Utrecht is a great place to be. The historic city centre offers plenty to see, such as the iconic Dom Tower. You can shop to your heart's content and relax on a terrace by the canal.
Here is a modern cube-shaped house fitted with unique louvers. By Sunshield, commissioned by Hallz in Hattemerbroek (NL).
The three adjacent windows are rectangular and together 7.2 metres wide. Each window has its own louvers. The owners opted for the 96-E blade.
This is a louver with a sleek design and 96 mm wide. When the slats are fully opened, the view between the slats is 9 centimetres. This ensures a lot of incoming daylight and a good view.
The louvers can be operated wirelessly. The residents can open or close the slats using a remote control. Or put them in any desired position in between.
The aluminium components are coated in RAL 7016. The gloss level of 30% gives the anthracite a matt appearance. The plastic parts, such as the clips that hold the slats, are black.
